View of Freiburg station in March 2001. The train on the right is a local service bound for Basel Badischer Bahnhof hauled by a class 110 and formed of Silberling coaches. The train on the left is formed of lightweight diesel railcars built by Stadler and used on the Breisgau S-Bahn, currently connecting Freiburg and Breisach but soon to be extended onto other railways in the area.
