Spain (RENFE)

Murcia station on 05.01.2002. Class 333 diesel locomotive running around the Talgo Mare Nostrum. The locomotive hauled this train from Cartagena and here runs around the train at Murcia before taking it to Alicante. At Alicante, electric traction wil take over (usually a 252), which will then take the train along the Mediterranean coast to Portbou. There the Talgo will cross onto the standard guage tracks and be hauled on to Montpellier by an SNCF electric.
