The P16s normally operate in sets of one motor unit and a trailer. They are actually capable of multiple unit operation, although this cannot be used in everyday sevice for lack of a connector provision. For trial purposes only, a set with two motor cars and a trailer once operated. But four P16s in one train? What is going on here?
Normally trams have no difficulty with the snow, but the particular moist snow on in January 1995 was just too much for the leading P16 on route 5, which had to pushed up Gloriastr. towards Kirche Fluntern by the following P16 on route 6.
