| Update on Bern trams in Basel filed on: 07.05.2004 (7th May 2004) The 5 trams to be loaned from Bern to Basel are not to be Standard Trams as previosly suggested on this page, but Be 8/8 cars from 1973. A first car will be sent to Basel on the night of Monday to Tuesday (10-11th May) and will be used for clearance testing.
