Winterthur tests double-articulated trolleybus
Luzern's Hess Lightram double-articulated trolleybus 232 was tested (without passengers) in Winterthur on 5th and 6th July. The trials should help clarify the necessary infrastructure modifications required to introduce such vehicles. A decison on the future of the town's trolleybus system is due soon. WV's Mercedes/ABB O405 GTZ are due for replacement in 2009/10. See also this website's trolleybus page.
