New special livery
The latest special livery tram is the set 2051 + 2315. Each section is painted in a different livery, representing another operator in the ZVV region. This tram should make people more aware of their operational integration and the fact that all tickets are interchangeably valid, regardless of the issuing operator. I am assuming the other operators are doing something similar. An S-Bahn train carrying different liveries has already been sighted. For both units, advertising liveries are nothing new. 2051 carried a football livery in 2008, actually carrying the livery of a Swiss airliner, and 2315 advertised the Messe extension of route 11 from its opening in 1999 until 2004.
