Industry lethargic on Basel tram order
BVB and BLT have expressed disappointment over the lack of interest in tendering for the next tram generation. Only two companies, Bombardier and Stadler, have returned offers. This is especially remarkable as 55 trams is a large order by tram acquisition standards. The outcome of the tender will be announced in the first quarter of 2006.
