Referenda: positive results
Today's cantonal referendum on Tram Zürich West was approved by 196,229 votes to 161,995 (69.8%). This majority is even clearer than that of July's city referendum (69.3%). The St. Gallen referendum on the renewal of the trolleybus fleet was acepted by 20,269 votes to 2,380, efectively securing the survival of the system. An overwhelming vote of support for the trolleybus!!
